Shifting does not lock doors.

When the key is in the ignition and in the on position and when all doors are shut they will automatically lock when you move the shift lever out of park. Turn the ignition from the 3 on to the 1 off lock position. A fuse is blown. Press and hold the door lock and unlock switch for 5 seconds or more in the unlock direction within 20 seconds after turning the power supply position on.

Again if one door doesn t work but others do the problem could be with the door lock solenoid. Turn the ignition back to the 3 on position. When i stop and shift back into park they don t unlock as they do on my 03 tahoe. Press the power door unlock control on the door panel three times.
